I’ve been at Verbrec for seven years now, and have grown into my role after initially starting as a Piping Designer.

Now, in my leadership position as a Drafting Manager, I choose to lead with integrity. It’s important to me that my design team feel as though they have an open line of communication.

When people trust that they can come to me with a problem or admit a mistake, whatever it might be, I know we can work through it together.

At Verbrec, we’re always keeping up with the industry as it evolves. A good example is the work we’ve done with 3D laser scanning.

My team has been trained up in this area as a result of the increased demand from clients, meaning we don’t need to rely on external services.

My advice to anyone starting at Verbrec is just to have fun.

There’s no such thing as silly questions, and if you want it, you’re in for a long, fulfilling career under the Verbrec umbrella.
