West Angelas Gas Facilities EPC

Scope

The West Angelas Petroleum Pipeline (WAPPL) is part of the overall Rio Tinto (RTIO) Power System Upgrade 330 (PSU330) Project that includes the development of new power generation and transmission infrastructure throughout the Pilbara Region of Western Australia to support RTIO’s iron ore production expansion to 333 Mtpa.

Project Summary

Verbrec, completed the EPC of the WAPPL Gas facilities. Verbrec’s role:

  • Design & Construction
  • Project Management
  • Procurement
  • Safety & Operating Plans
  • Commissioning

This was part of the greater WAPPL project which also included a 85km of DN350 gas transmission line which was an EPC in joint venture with Monadelphous.
