Scope

1 nodal compressor station, 34 km gas pipeline (DN500), 33 km water pipeline (DN400), 35 km above-ground 66kV HV lines, 34 km of fibre optic line

Project Summary

The Roma East Development is a greenfield project to recover CSG from acreage situated north-east of Wallumbilla and export it via a remote nodal compressor station (R-NCS-01) to the existing Roma Hub 02 through to the GLNG Plant on Curtis Island.

Verbrec, with partners Arcadis and TDE, completed the FEED stage for the nodal compressor station, gas pipeline, water pipeline, fibre optic line and HV transport line.

Verbrec was then awarded the next phase and, together with Arcadis, delivered the detailed design of the following elements:

  • gas pipeline
  • water pipeline
  • fibre optic line
  • HV transport line
  • connections to the new nodal compressor station and existing Roma Hub.
