Importance of Risk-Based Process Safety Management Frameworks

Share This:

Risk-based process safety (RBPS) is a framework that is used to manage and control risks associated with the operation of complex physical assets.

It aims to prevent significant negative consequences resulting from asset failures. RBPS involves identifying and prioritising risks, implementing cost-effective measures, and considering all aspects of facility design, construction, operation and maintenance. It ensures the safety of personnel, the environment, and the community.
