The Ahuroa Gas Storage Facility stores gas for use by the Stratford Power Station. First Gas upgraded the facility to increase the gas injection and withdrawal rates from 35 to 65 TJ/day.
Scope of the project included providing three additional compressors and a gas conditioning treatment plant.
Verbrec was engaged by First Gas to provide design, engineering, procurement and construction support services for the expansion at Ahuroa through to plant hand-over documentation and commissioning support. Verbrec have been part of the FGL led integrated collaborative team from initial project inception to completion.
