Verbrec subsidiary LogiCamms been awarded a detailed engineering contract for the connection of Vintage Energy’s Vali field to the east coast gas market.
Earlier this month, Vintage revealed independent evaluation has tripled the field’s gross 2P reserves from $30.3 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of gas to 92 Bcf.
Vintage operates the Vali field in the Queensland permit ATP 2021 with a 50 per cent interest.
Its joint venture (JV) partners Metgasco and Bridgeport each hold 25 per cent.
Verbrec unites a number of well-established companies which together have been delivering specialised services to the pipelines industry since 1988, including LogiCamms and OSD.
The company said its pipelines team were putting their Cooper Basin pipeline design experience to good use in this multi-stakeholder project.
The Cooper Basin spans 127,000 m2 and covers parts of Queensland and South Australia.
Santos first explored the basin in 1959 with the drilling of Innamincka 1 after a reflection–refraction survey was conducted over the Innamincka Dome with Delhi Petroleum as operator.
