BP Refinery Capital Works

Scope
The BP Bulwer Island Refinery was commissioned in 1964, had a capacity of around 102,000 barrels per day and produced petrol, diesel, kerosene, aviation fuel, heading oil and LPG.
Project Summary

Verbrec provided a fully resourced capital works team to BP to design, manage and execute a wide range of minor works projects of individual value up to $5 million.

The minor works team comprised of project managers, project engineers, discipline engineers and project administrators working as a self-managed team on the client’s site. This team utilised the clients systems and the existing project delivery model, together with Verbrecs systems to design, manage and execute projects.

Verbrec has been actively involved with BP Refinery Bulwer Island since 1992. The refinery ceased production in 2015, but Verbrec have since retained a presence supporting BP on site.
